Short answer: published 2026 prices in Nepal put a basic website at roughly NPR 10,000 to 40,000, a professional business website at about NPR 40,000 to 80,000, and an online shop at about NPR 60,000 to 200,000 (2026 Nepal pricing guide; agency package list). The build is only the first bill. After launch you also pay for maintenance, hosting and the domain every year, and those are often billed separately.
These ranges come from agencies' own published price lists and guides, so treat them as a guide, not a quote. Ask for every price in writing.

Why the range is so wide: the number of pages, whether you can edit the content yourself, user logins, online payments, and how much design work goes in.
The costs after launch
A website keeps costing money for as long as it is online.
- Maintenance (AMC). Maintenance is commonly sold as a yearly annual maintenance contract. One 2026 guide lists basic AMCs at about NPR 5,000 to 10,000 a year, standard at NPR 10,000 to 20,000, and comprehensive at NPR 20,000 or more, with hosting and the domain billed separately (maintenance and AMC guide).
